What do these pills do?
Cialis, also known by its medical name of Tadalafil, is used in treating male erectile dysfunction. It works in the same way that most other erectile dysfunction pills (most notably Sildenafil Citrate), by relaxing the muscles in the male penis, allowing the arteries to more easily fill with blood. The main difference between Cialis and Viagra is how long it is active for, otherwise known as its "half life". Viagra is only active for about 4-5 hours after ingesting it, while Cialis is active for up to almost 18 hours after first ingested.
How do I take Cialis Super Active?
Take Cialis just like you would any other pill. Take it with a full glass of water anywhere from 15-30 minutes before expected sexual activity. This is less than half the time required for Sildenafil based products.
Always take the recommended dose, only once per day. If you think you have overdosed, call a doctor immediately.
Warning signs…
If you start experiencing vision problems or a prolonged or painful erection lasting longer than four hours, call a doctor immediately. This could be a serious issue that needs to be taken care of immediately.
What are some of the potential side effects of these pills?
Serious side effects that should be reported to a doctor immediately include:
- chest pain
- change in heartbeat
- hearing issues
- respiratory problems
- allergic reaction
Such cases are rare and should be taken care of by a doctor.
Minor side effects that should be fixed by discontinuing use of Cialis include
- muscle pain
- back pain
- flushing
- indigestion
- stuffy or runny nose
- dizziness
If you experience any of these symptoms, stop taking Cialis.
What other medications should I avoid with these pills?
Generally speaking, the only medicine you must avoid while taking Cialis are nitrates, like Amyl Nitrate, Nitroglicerin and a few other specified on the bottle. If you currently take any of these medications, consult your doctor for an alternate remedy for your erectile dysfunction.
Depending on your medical history and your own body, Cialis may react with any of the following substances:
- grapefruit juice
- prostate medicine
- Macrolide Antibiotics
- Seizure medication
- drugs for high blood pressure
- AIDS or HIV medication
- drugs for yeast or fungal infections
- Rifabutin
- Rifampin
- Rifapentine
If you take any of the above substances and experience a reaction while taking Cialis, consult your doctor for an alternative.
Other Important Information
It is important to only take potent Cialis pills. Cialis has a shelf life of about 2 years, from when they were initially manufactured. Each blister pack has an expiry date on it. If it is past the expiry date, discard the pills immediately and restock.
It is also very important to store Cialis out of the reach of children because if they ingest them, they could experience negative medical reactions. The best place to store Cialis is in a medicine cabinet that stays around room temperature.
